The 1998 Conference!
Unfortunately, many of the pictures taken at the conference turned out dark, out of focus, or both. Fortunately, many were "salvaged" in an editing program, so they were still able to be posted here. I don't know if the problem was with the camera or the operator (that being me, I suspect the latter), but I apologize they're not a little better quality. More details about the conference will be available in the upcoming newsletter.
Editor's note: In case anybody is wondering why there are no pictures of the 1999 conference in Costa Mesa posted here, the answer is quite simple: We forgot the camera! Sorry; we'll remember it next year!
On September 21 and 22, about one hundred health care professionals gathered at the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento for the 1998 CA-NV ACHSA conference.
We used the opportunity to form new friendships, renew old acquaintances, and network with others who work in our rather unique field of correctional health.
Thanks in large part to the Northern California Correctional Nurse Network, several outstanding speakers provided us with information on a wide variety of topics pertinent to the profession of correctional health care.
